Long recognised as one of Shanghai’s most glamorous international social occasions, the British Ball has always brought together an influential and stylish crowd for an evening of celebration, connection and British cultural flair. After a hiatus, it returns this year by popular demand with the Ascot Edition — inviting guests into a world where British racing heritage, timeless elegance and modern philanthropy come together for a truly unforgettable night.

An Evening of Style, Entertainment & Connection

Expect a sophisticated dress-up occasion inspired by one of Britain’s most iconic social traditions.

Guests are invited to embrace the spirit of Ascot in top hats, fascinators, elegant summer dresses, sharp tailoring and statement race-day style — with a playful invitation to think beyond the expected, be bold, and bring their own creative interpretation to the theme. The evening will culminate in a Best of Ascot Awards, celebrating creativity, confidence and classic Ascot flair.

Beyond the track, guests can look forward to a welcome reception, live entertainment, a curated themed 4-course dinner, immersive moments and photo opportunities, all set within a grand ballroom.
