Linian Li is managing and developing Modern Water’s business in China and formulating company‘s strategy. She has double master’s degrees, MBA in Natural Resources Energy & Environment from University of Alberta, Canada and Master in Management, Grande Ecole Programme from EDHEC Business School, France. An executive with more than ten years of management experience in sales, marketing, business development, project management, corporate strategy, personnel, P&L and general management in international companies, including JCDecaux, GM Europe GmbH, Carat, Rouse & Co., International. And a self-motivated strategic thinker with determination and effective leadership skills possesses extensive real-life experience in the business and social cultures of Asia, Europe and North America. Linian got the Women Leadership Awards—Innovator of the Year in 2021.

Oscar Ramos, an entrepreneur-turned-investor, is General Partner at SOSV, Managing Director of Chinaccelerator and MOX. Chinaccelerator is the cross-border internet arm of venture capital fund SOSV ($1.1B AUM) , where Oscar invests broadly across enterprise SaaS and cross-border internet startups, manages the accelerator program, and serves on the Board of Directors of several portfolio companies. In his current role, Oscar has made investment decisions and helped accelerate the growth of 160+ startups.

A “full-stack innovator” with expertise ranging from technology and product design to corporate strategy and venture capital, Oscar built and led his own micro-VC fund investing in early-stage Chinese startups prior to joining SOSV Chinaccelerator. He began his career in the corporate sector working in R&D with Ericsson and Telefonica in deep-tech applications such as mobile network protocols, cybersecurity, RF and biotechnology. His passion for innovation propelled him to move to China in early 2008 and drop out of his Biomedical PhD program to start his first venture. Since then, he has since been involved in various areas of innovation as an entrepreneur, investor, and advisor to startups and multinationals. He currently sits on the Board of multiple startups. He holds a Masters of Engineering in Telecommunication from UPM.

Liam is the Founder and CEO of RESET Carbon Ltd. RESET’s work focuses on developing and implementing commercially driven low carbon and other environmental management programs for Asian and international corporate clients.

Previously Liam was the Director of WWF’s International’s Asia-Pacific Climate Programme, where he built and managed a pan-Asian team.  At WWF Liam also co-led the design and set-up of the Gold Standard Foundation, which is now a leading certification system for project level carbon offsets and other environmental and social attributes.

Liam holds a Master of Science in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London.

In his spare time, Liam can be found running trails in Chiang Mai, whilst listening to the Bee Gees.

Dr Frank Henze joined the Sino-British College, USST, in 2019, delivering lectures in Business Management and Engineering. Before joining SBC, he worked as the General Manager at International Management and Innovation Consultancy (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., focusing on productivity and process improvements for various leading companies in sectors such as Automotive, Telecom, Home Appliances, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Machinery.

During his career Dr Henze has gathered broad experience in the various functional areas of enterprises, such as Engineering, Production, Logistics, Purchasing and Sourcing, Administration, Project Management, and recently again in Education. Dr Henze holds a Dr.-Ing. (PhD) Degree in Telecom Engineering of Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany, since 1991.

When his time allows, and besides his main role as Lecturer at The Sino-British College, USST, Dr Henze teaches related topics at other business schools, and supports industrial projects related to the digitalization of the supply chain.
