Event details

This session is part of BritCham Shanghai’s SDG event series and focuses on SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals.

BritCham Shanghai invites greentech innovators, investment firms and multinationals to join the 12th session of our SDG series. This session also kicks off the Chamber’s Technology & Innovation Committee’s quarterly SDG webinars*.

BritCham Shanghai SDG Series – Greentech Innovations & Impact will take place on Friday, 24 June (16:00 China Time; 09:00 UK Time) and focus on how greentech companies are helping solve climate change and food security challenges around the world. Attendees will gain first-hand insights from experts on the latest innovations, global impact, and commercial opportunities of this burgeoning sector.

We will begin with keynotes from global tech giant Microsoft and one of Britain’s rising tech stars Silverstream. Following that, a roundtable discussion of experts from across the sector (Serica, SOSV, Sino-British College, Deepverge, and Carbon Reset) will discuss the battle against climate change from different perspectives. Time has been allocated throughout the webinar to give the audience the opportunity to ask our experts questions.

This webinar is ideal for greentech innovators (seeking to scale their solutions), investment firms (investing in the sector), and multinationals (seeking greater ESG impact).

*BritCham Shanghai Technology & Innovation Committee’s quarterly SDG webinars explore the impact that innovators on the frontlines are making in the battle against major global challenges such as climate change, food security, healthcare inequality, and poverty alleviation.
