Event details

Hosted by the BritCham Sustainability Committee, this event aims to bring together senior supply chain, procurement and sustainability leaders to translate sustainability commitments into measurable value‑chain action. Recognising that carbon hotspots and effective decarbonisation levers vary by industry, the roundtable will explore how companies can prioritise investment, accelerate action with priority suppliers, and embed eco‑design, lower‑carbon materials, circularity and use‑phase considerations into procurement, product and operational decisions. Grounded in the realities of sourcing and manufacturing in Asia, the discussion aims to identify scalable approaches that strengthen sustainability performance, business resilience and long‑term competitiveness.

Following the roundtable, participants will join a curated VIP visit to GREENEXT Expo. The visit is designed to complement the discussion by showcasing practical solutions and case studies across low‑carbon materials, circular economy, sustainable packaging, supply chain traceability, resource efficiency and climate innovation.

By connecting strategic discussion with real‑world applications, the programme aims to help participants explore how sustainability priorities can be translated into operational action, supplier engagement and value‑chain transformation. The visit will also provide opportunities for peer exchange and cross‑sector collaboration among business leaders, solution providers and industry stakeholders.

Admission includes a curated VIP guided tour.

Roundtable Discussion Questions

  1.  How do different industry carbon hotspots shape decarbonisation priorities across the value chain, and why is a one-size-fits-all sustainability approach often ineffective?
  2.  What are the most effective levers for reducing value chain emissions in your sector, and how do you decide where to focus investment and resources?
  3.  How can companies work more effectively with priority suppliers to improve data quality, address different levels of supplier readiness, and drive measurable action rather than compliance alone?
  4.  How can procurement, product development and operations teams collaborate to embed eco-design, lower-carbon materials, circularity and use-phase considerations into decision-making from the outset?
  5.  What does effective supplier assessment and development look like in practice, particularly in Asia’s sourcing and manufacturing environment, and where are the greatest opportunities for collaboration across the value chain?
