Born in 1983, he is a key member of the China National Men’s Goalball Team . He embarked on his career as a goalball athlete in 2000 and was honored with the Advanced Individual of the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, as well as the title of Model Worker in Zhejiang Province. He secured the championship title in the goalball competition at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Para Games, and clinched the second place at the 2015 World Para Games. He also led the male team to victory at the 2017 Asia-Pacific Goalball Championships and secured the title in the goalball competition at the Asian Youth Para Games. He achieved the runner-up position at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Para Games and earned the third place at the 2019 IBSA Goalball International Qualifier in the United States, in addition to winning the championship at the Asia-Pacific Goalball Championships. He achieved a remarkable four consecutive championships at the China National Para Games.

Ying Ying Koh is responsible for leading IHG’s overall strategic direction for HR for the Greater China region. She plays a critical role in driving the talent, organisation, culture and capability priorities and programmes to support system size growth and hotel-by-hotel performance. In partnership with the line leaders, her HR team provides comprehensive support and services for the Greater China corporate and hotel colleagues to enhance IHG’s reputation as an employer of choice in the region.

Prior to that Ying Ying had been Vice President, Hotel Operations, Human Resources, Greater China since 2012, where she provided functional and strategic leadership to develop and implement HR strategy and plan for our hotel operations in Greater China.

Ying Ying joined IHG in 2008 in the Singapore corporate office and has led teams in resourcing and HR within the Asia Middle East Africa region before moving to Shanghai.

Ying Ying brings with her over 20 years of diverse experience in consulting and recruitment across public and private sectors and has worked with companies such as PSD Group, ExxonMobil, Infocomn Development Authority of Singapore, and Economic Development Board.

Ying Ying graduated from London School of Economics & Political Science (UK) with a concentration in Economics.

Mark is the founder and Chairman of the Board of United World Colleges (UWC) Changshu China. He is a member of the UWC International Council and Vice Chairman of the Chairs’ Committee. He’s the Chair of the UWC China National Committee and, a member of IB Asia Pacific Council. He’s also Deputy to the 16th and 17th People’s Congress of Suzhou, Member of the standing committee of the 14th CPPCC of Changshu, Deputy to the 16th People’s Congress of Changshu, Deputy to the 13th and 14th National People’s Congress, Vice Director of Suzhou Disabled Persons’ Federation, Vice President of Suzhou Western Returned Scholars Association, President of Changshu New Social Class Association, President of Changshu Western Returned Scholars Association, National Self-Improvement Model of China and Outstanding Talent of Suzhou.

Mark was injured in an air crash when he was twelve. During the five years of rehabilitation, he learned the school courses by himself and through sheer determination kept up with his peers. In 1998, through competitive selection, he got the scholarship set up by Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway and became the first student from mainland China to study at the Red Cross Nordic UWC (RCNUWC). In Norway, he is known as a hero for his courage and dauntless struggle with his disability. He won two gold medals at the 36th Disabled Ski Championship (1999) held in Norway and participated in the Beijing and New York marathon. During his time at UWC, Mark wrote and published his autobiography, which became a best seller in China. Later his autobiography was adapted into an 18-episode TV series, and an opera musical which inspired many people. A chapter of his autobiography has been adapted for a Chinese textbook used by all public secondary schools in Shanghai.

After he graduated from RCNUWC in 2000, he started to pursue his dream of opening a UWC in mainland China. In 2008, he became a member of the UWC International Council. In 2010, Mark founded the UWC National Committee of China together with other alumni of UWC in China, and he became the Chairman of the Committee. In 2015, UWC Changshu China was founded after 15 years of relentless efforts. Since its opening, over 2,200 students from more than 130 countries and regions have studied and lived at UWC Changshu China. Over the years, UWC Changshu China has always advocated the noble pursuit of becoming a harmonious family with members from over 100 countries and regions which not only celebrates the charm and beauty of the Chinese culture but also the pursuit of peace and harmony of mankind. UWC Changshu China shall always strive to cultivate more international talents who understand and love China, and make new contributions to the construction of a community of human destiny! In 2020, Mark founded CWA for Chinese students to promote the practice of international education in China.

Mark also founded several enterprises in the Nordic region and China.

Mark graduated from RCNUWC in 2000 and later received a master’s degree in Economics from Oslo University of Norway.

Curtis Baker is the Asia Pacific Regional Inclusion,Diversity & Equity (ID&E) and Employee Experience (EX) Lead.

In this combined role, Curtis is responsible for driving and implementing the Inclusion & Diversity + Employee Experience strategy and providing expertise, consultation and support to business, functional, and ERG leaders and EX change champions in the region.  He drives the Social component of Dow’s ESG strategy and growth into the region and amplifies globally the voice from Asia Pacific.

Collaborating with the businesses and functions on inclusion and employee experience interventions that lead to measurable results and long-term sustainable culture change, he also manages relationship support for I&D + EX partnerships and represent Dow externally consistent with the region’s outreach and thought leadership initiatives.

He holds a B.A. in Public Relations and a DEI for HR certification from Cornell University.  Externally, he is an advisor for IPWS (International Profressional Women’s Society-SH), Out & Equal APAC Council and.  He previously lead DEI for The Walt Disney Company China prior to joining Dow.

Michael holds a Master Degree of Business Administration. He started his career in 1991, and worked as Commercial Manager for Moeller Electrical Equipment (Suzhou) during 1999 and 2004. From 2004 till now, he works for Laerdal Medical(Suzhou), responsible of finance, procurement, and logistics. From 2010, he serves as General Manager at Laerdal Medical(Suzhou) Co. Ltd.

Established in 2003, Laerdal Medical (Suzhou) covers manufacturing, assembly, global sourcing R&D, AP Distribution Hub except for sales & Marketing. The company continually helps children with educational programs for 18 years, sponsored more than 600 kids back to school through company’s efforts.

The company also provides CPR trainings for over 7931 persons.

Fabrizio is the current Chair of BritCham Shanghai’s SME Committee and Managing Partner at SB&A – Shi Bisset & Associates, a People Strategy and Organisational Development advisory firm founded in Shanghai in 1982. Having worked in the Organisational Development and people Strategy fields in China for a decade, Fabrizio is a specialised consultant and an advisor to businesses ranging from Small and Medium Enterprises to Fortune 500 Multinational Corporations in China, Asia, and globally. Over the years, he has developed and deployed solutions for international clients such as Alibaba Group, BP, Boston Scientific, Chanel, Diageo, Eaton Corporation, IDEO, JLR, and Sabic among others.

Wang Li joined the Inclusion Factory in March 2020, where she oversees projects within the Inclusion Advisory Department. Her role involves providing CSR/DEI consulting services to employers, focusing on the recruitment and employment of individuals with disabilities, drawing upon the Inclusion Factory’s specialized experience in this area. She initiated the establishment of a local support group for families of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Transitioning from a career in media to the public welfare and social innovation sector in 2017, she has since selected as a visiting scholar to the Southeast Asia Health Equity Project (The Equity Initiative).

In 2010, served as a translator/fitness coach for the U17 male and female basketball teams at the Basketball Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, as well as a judge and fitness coach for the ANTA National Basketball New Star Selection held on CCTV5. Also served as a fitness coach for the Kevin Garnett Training Camp. From 2011 to 2016, Deputy Director of the Tangxi Goalball Training Base in Zhejiang Province.

Na Zhan is Head of Community Engagement Program at MustardTek. She is passionate about promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She loves exploring ways to empower people with different abilities to develop a higher creative self-efficacy, a maker mindset, problem solving skills and creative leadership skills. Over the past 10 years, she has extensive experience in creating design-based on and challenge-based learning experiences. She has provided professional development courses on maker education, design thinking and interdisciplinary curriculum and instructional design for 1000+ educators across China.

Kay started her WeDiscover journey in 2015, to provide cross-cultural, experiential learning programs in sustainability, innovation, and social entrepreneurship. She is committed to helping Chinese and international young talents to achieve experiences that transcend cultural boundaries. Kay has been involved in organizing various forms of sustainability events, from corporate trainings, youth workshops, environmental educational activities, to sustainability forums. She is an advocate for sustainable lifestyles and works with the sustainability community in building healthy mind, body and planet.
