Organised by the British Chambers of Commerce across China, the 2024 British Business Awards (BBA) recognise and promote excellence in innovation, enterprise and endeavour in both the British and Chinese business communities.
Due to the demand from businesses and individuals who would like to finalise their entries over the October holiday, we have decided to extend the 2024 British Business Awards application deadline until 10 October.
We invite all eligible businesses and individuals to enter. Key dates of Awards are as follows:
Visit 2024 British Business Awards website (https://britishbusinessawards.org) and click the “Enter the Awards” button.
02. Register an account
Click the “Register Your Entry” button to set up an account and fill in your profile.
03. Activate your account
Check the email used for registration to find the account activation link. Click the link and complete the activation step.
04. Fill in your applications
Select the category you wish to enter and complete the online application form.
05. Submit Application
You can save and re-edit the application until you are ready to submit. Once submitted, the application cannot be altered.
Notice: The extended closing date for submissions is 10 October 2024.
Judging is a three-step process, fully audited by KPMG,which eradicates any potential bias from the judge or panel member. Theprocess is as follows:
Weighting of the Award
Step1
Once the entry date closes, all entries are reviewed by independent judging panels – one for each of the nine categories. Each panel shortlists five finalists – all to be announced on 23rd October 2024.
Step2
Theshortlisted finalists are then invited foran interview assessment bytheir respective judging panels.
Step3
A percentage of the award will be determined by anonline vote – open to the public. The online votes, accounting for 10% of the candidates’ final scores,are then collated, weighted and added to the judges’ scores – resulting in anoverall final score and single winner foreach category.
The winners will be revealed at the Gala Dinner hostedin Shanghai on 21st November 2024.
