On Thursday, 09 March 2023, BritCham Shanghai and its Financial Services Committee successfully hosted the second CFO Dialogue roundtable discussion on Data Compliance.
It is part of a roundtable series for CFOs from BritCham member companies and guest companies to share their best practices and experiences on key themes and trends for businesses in the market.
We thank our guest speaker Alex Roberts, Counsel at Linklaters LLP and Aron Liu, Senior Data Architect at Alibaba Cloud for bringing us the insightful sharing from legal and operational perspectives.
Alex from Linklaters delivered a China data landscape including the latest China data law update and how the law could impact on the daily operation of companies.
Aron from Alibaba Cloud introduced an overview and trend of Data Compliance in China. And he also took Alibaba Cloud solution for example to enhance a better understanding for CFOs.
During the roundtable discussion, our participants discussed the needs, concerns, and their interests on Data Compliance.
