The British Business in China: Position Paper is BritCham’s flagship annual publication, amplifying the voices of British companies across Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong and Southwest China as we raise the regulatory barriers and recommendations for market reform. The 2022 Paper was launched in Beijing on 31 May. On the afternoon of 15 June, we are delighted to invite BritCham members and businesses to join the Shanghai launch event which will be focused on the opportunity within the financial service sector.

Tim Yu, Partner of Mazars, will share the key findings from the financial services chapter in the 2022 Position Paper and present the key opportunities for businesses. Then Tim Yu, Linmao Li PhD, Chartered Insurer, ACII and Betty Mao, Head of China, abrdn group will join the panel discussion and take questions from the audience. This event is hosted by Alex Roberts, At-Large Member, Executive Committee, BritCham Shanghai; Counsel, Linklaters LLP.
