In September, BritCham Shanghai will be holding the Employability Week 2022 starting from late September till November, including a series of webinars and a Talent Bootcamp programme to enhance graduates’ employability and connect corporates with top young talent from a variety of top UK Universities.
It also aims to facilitate effective recruitment across industry sectors in Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu Provinces for graduates, recent alumni and young professionals.
In the webinars, BritCham Shanghai is delighted to invite multiple speakers with diverse backgrounds to present their perspectives on early career development. These sessions will help young professionals go through the proposed exercises, structure their ideas and prepare for their pitches on the final day’s Talent Bootcamp, a career acceleration programme where they meet and engage with experienced business professionals from different companies, pitch their value propositions, receive feedback and build a network to kick-start their careers.
The webinars and the Talent Bootcamp are FREE of charge for 2023 graduates and recent alumni of ALL UK universities.

Bootcamp is a career acceleration program that helps students and recent graduates develop skills and meet some of the world’s most attractive and impressive companies.
Over the programme, our participants will present themselves in front of the business leaders. Through the pitch session, participants will discover their talents, presentation skills, understand how businesses work and create unique opportunities to kick-start their careers.
Our half-day Talent Bootcamp includes two sessions on the day:

The Pitch Session occurs with professionals from different companies, representing themselves as judges and giving feedback on each participant. Participants will have 10 minutes to face the judges, where they will have the opportunity to pitch their value proposition in less than 2 minutes.
