How to support employee Mental Health and Well-being

Davy Guo acquired his Doctorate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Manchester, UK. He is a Chartered Psychologist of the British Psychological Society, a member of the supervisory board of the Chinese Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a board member of the Zhejiang Neuroscience Association Autism Professional Committee.
Davy has been working in the mental health industry for over 10 years in Canada and the UK, primarily providing support for university students. After returning to China in 2015, Davy has been working at ELG, Shanghai as a psychologist and the regional director. Utilizing a range of therapeutic models, including CBT, Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness, he has been providing psychological and emotional support for international and bilingual schools. In additional, he has been invited by schools and organizations to offer workshops and trainings on variety of mental health related subjects.

As Head of HR for Hays China, a recruiting expert worldwide company, Caribal has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and an expert in establishing first-class HR function in the business, establishing policies, procedures, and performance management structure, managing and balancing risk while considering the commercial realities, supporting business in building a high-performance culture, driving wellness and work-life balance for better employee engagement. Caribal is also part of the Asia DE&I (DisCo) Committee that builds a diverse, equal and inclusive culture, creating a workplace where everyone can flourish and succeed regardless of background. Outside of her job, Caribal is the Co-chair of the British Chamber of Commerce HR Committee. The committee shares HR topics of interest to all the industries, organises events with hot HR industry topics, connects with HR professionals to promote best HR practices.

She is bold, direct, and fiercely committed to helping her clients thrive. Rita holds an MBA from Wayne State University and a BSBA from Boston University. Her corporate career included supply chain, strategy, and procurement leadership roles at Ford, Colgate Palmolive, and Unilever. Her client base includes Volkswagen, Airbus, McCann World, CITIC Group, and Evonik.

In her spare time, Rita enjoys afternoon tea, watching a performance, or wandering in the old lanes. She will always find an excuse to wear a fancy hat and lives by the motto: #alwayschoosefabulous.

Eric is currently serving at WeWork China as HR Director – Organisation Development, Talent Acquisition, Business Partner, Share Services and Employee Relations. Before joining WeWork, he accumulated HR expertise and professional experiences from diverse industrial background of leading employers e.g. GroupM, InterContinental Hotels Group, Mondelez, PwC etc. Eric is currently a Doctorate Degree candidate in Business Administration at Université Grenoble Alpes, France and EMBA student at Quantic School of Business & Technology, USA. He held Master Degree of Science in HRM from Edinburgh Napier University, UK and is also a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, UK. He was appointed as Talent & Organisation Management Expert of LinkedIn China Go-global Talent Think Insights Centre.
