The CALAgility System^®is a leadership system that has been implemented by managers around the world, both at junior, middle and senior levels. It is a culture, seniority and gender-neutral approach that works.

The one-day high impact workshop will introduce the CALAgility System with a particular benefit to women who may question:

Do I have to give up on family time in order to succeed in a leadership role at work?
How can stress be reduced and productivity increased?
Can I get my teams to boost their performance so we can raise recognition?

The CALAgility System is a new system for organisational leadership that addresses such issues.

Completed in advance

Self-assessment for teams/organisations, looking at the principles needed for dynamic and agile productivity. Participants will compare their own confidential scores with cohort peers as well as a global database.
Individual self-assessment that shows how agile/adaptive, responsive, effective, balanced and overall enabling the choices of leadership strategy are (available in Chinese and English). A highly customised report will give specific suggestions for further exploration. The workshop will compare cohort scores to global averages.

Participants will be able to compare their own confidential score with cohort peers as well as a global normative data base.

Nick Obolensky

Founder, Complex Adaptive Leadership Ltd; MD, Agile Plus Leadership Consultants

Nick is Founder and CEO of Complex Adaptive Leadership Ltd (UK) and MD of Agile+ Consultants (China). He belongs to the faculty of CEDEP in France (INSEAD Fontainebleau campus) as a professor of leadership. He links complexity science, blended with ancient Chinese wisdom, for leaders to navigate VUCA times in a practical way. His approach was awarded the EFMD Gold Award for Executive Development beating many leading blue-chip business schools around the world. This approach has been employed by a variety of international MNCs (e.g. Rolls-Royce, Dow Chemical, GE, UBS, IBM, Société Générale, Rio Tinto, Nokia, Ali Baba) as well as public sector organisations (e.g. in UK, Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia). He has wide ranging leadership experience including:

Practitioner: British Army Major (youngest at the time) in his late twenties trained in Armour, Intelligence, Special Forces and military Joint Service Mountain Expedition Leader; Development Director/COS of FTSE 100 firm (line responsibility for 12,000 staff, change responsibility for 45,000 staff); CEO of green energy technology start-ups.

Nick holds an MBA from IMD (where he graduated as Valedictorian) and is a qualified Chartered Management Consultant. His other past achievements include Master Scuba Diver, twin engine instrument rated private pilot, Emergency First Responder (paramedic) and qualified mountain guide/expedition leader.
