Event details

The British Chamber Shanghai is delighted to invite our members and community to the annual International Women’s Day Breakfast on Friday, 4 March 2022.

Developed in 2017 by the United Nations, Gender Equality is listed as one of the seventeen sustainable developments goals. For businesses, it’s crucial to understand how we can become truly inclusive in our culture and adapt through the journey towards gender equality at the workplace.

Join us and hear from Laura Mitchelson, business psychology expert, mentor and facilitator, sharing her insight and communication techniques to achieve inclusivity at the workplace and in life.

‘Our work, now, and for the coming years, is to ‘share the room’. Only by pursuing safety and restoration in our daily interactions, can we move human development forward – it’s the only thing we know works. Make people uncomfortable, comfortably, and we all win.’

Following Laura’s keynote, our panellists will share their opinions and personal experiences on how they have explored the strategies to improve gender equality, make the workplace more inclusive and how to lift each other up.

This event welcomes absolutely everyone. Bring your colleagues, team members and friends and join us for this insightful and enjoyable morning, with a lot of takeaways!
