On the evening, we will run a silent auction and raise funds for Xiersen, a local NGO that aims to improve the condition of special education in China.
Millions of people have intellectual disabilities (ID) in China. According to a recent report, the employment rate for people with ID was less than 2%. Xiersen, a local NGO whose mission is “to improve the condition of special education in China”, has set out to address this important social issue.
Xiersen knows that many do not understand the situation of special needs adults and need a way to learn about it. ‘Special Slices’ is an original manga series developed by Xiersen to promote the awareness, acceptance and inclusion of special adults!
Xiersen hopes to raise funds for the printing of ‘Special Slices’ so it can reach a larger audience. Help Xiersen tell more stories and create opportunities for special adults.
