Sun Dahai is the dean of R&D institute at SYP Glass Group, based in Shanghai, dedicated to “integrity, innovation, and technological advancement.” As an accredited expert of the Insulated Glass Committee at the China Architectural & Industrial Glass Association, he is recognized for his technical expertise and pioneering leadership in glass industry.

He joined SYP Glass Group in 1999 and has led the development of industry-leading product including Point-Supported Curtain Wall Glass (2002 Shanghai Scientific Progress Third Prize), Metal-Decorated Laminated Glass (2005 National Glass Association Progress Second Prize), Low-E Coated Absorptive Glass (2003 Shanghai Scientific Progress Second Prize), Solar Photovoltaic Laminated Glass and Composite Fire-Resistant Glass.

Aki Yang heads the WildChina Shanghai Office and co-leads WildChina’s Corporate Services practice.  Her journey is one of transformative leadership and unwavering dedication to creating meaningful and sustainable experiences in tourism industry. Eight years ago, Aki embarked on her WildChina adventure, driven not solely by ambition, but by a profound desire to enrich lives and reshape an industry. Aki’s commitment to innovation extends beyond business strategy; it permeates the very experiences she crafts for clients. From pioneering the innovative outdoor leadership program for senior executives to curating digital insights for global business leaders, she ensures every journey leaves an indelible mark. Aki was the finalist for ‘Most Inspiring Women In Travel Asia 2024’ Award. 

 Previously, Aki was with Unilever, specializing in consumer insights, brand marketing, and project management. Driven by a great passion for outdoor experiences, she has traveled to all seven continents. 

Master of Chemical Engineering from the US, awarded CFA Certificate in Sustainable Investment. Liz Lin has more than 10 years extensive market experience in multi-national chemical enterprises. She is committed to promoting high – value applications and exploring innovative scenarios for recycled plastics for sustainable development since 2021.

Steve Baron works as the Head of Reputational & Sustainability Risk for HSBC China, based in Shanghai.

Prior to working for HSBC he worked for the UK Government as the Director and  Deputy Director for Financial and Professional services for the Department for Business and Trade based in the Consulate General Shanghai. He initially came to Shanghai to work for a strategy consultancy focused on financial services as a deputy director, supporting global financial services companies on their Greater China business.

Steve is also Vice-Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai’s ESG committee.

He came to China in 2009 to undertake his MSc in International Business at Ningbo, Nottingham University. After graduating with a distinction Steve moved to Beijing to pursue further studies at Tsinghua University.

In his spare time, Steve enjoys playing and watching football and is a big Arsenal fan. He also enjoys going to the gym and traveling.
