Shanghai Nights welcomed a full house and successfully raised funds for RDA Shanghai through auction and lucky draw.
Shanghai, 29 November 2025 — BritCham Shanghai hosted Shanghai Nights, bringing together members, partners and friends for a vibrant evening of community, celebration and giving. The venue Pearl was buzzing from the moment guests arrived, with glamorous outfits, lively conversations and a constant stream of photos against the Shanghai Nights backdrop setting the stage for a memorable night.
As guests enjoyed a range of dishes across both floors and free-flow drinks from the bar, the evening officially opened with warm remarks from Stuart Dunn, BritCham Shanghai Executive Director, Treasurer John Chattock, and RDA Shanghai representative Sophia Shen. Their messages reminded everyone that this was not only a celebration of community but also an opportunity to support a meaningful cause.
The entertainment that followed brought a brand-new format to the Chamber’s year-end celebrations. The Pearl’s Ye Shanghai cast delivered dynamic dance and vocal performances, including a stunning aerial routine that drew collective gasps from the crowd. Musical-theatre classics performed by Nik Parks added an artistic touch, before the award-winning Red Stars Band closed the night with a high-energy finale that kept guests dancing.
The silent auction and lucky draw saw enthusiastic participation, with guests bidding on a wide array of lifestyle, hospitality and wellness prizes. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, the event raised over RMB 60,000 in support of RDA Shanghai’s work with children and adults with disabilities — a meaningful achievement that captured the spirit of the night.
