On 20 September, BritCham Shanghai hosted its signature community celebration — Fortnum & Mason’s Great British Day Out 2025— at Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong, against a backdrop of music, sport, food, and family fun. With nearly 6,000 registrations and almost 4,000 attendees, this year’s Great British Day Out marked a new milestone for BritCham Shanghai.
上周9月20日，上海英国商会在上海德威外籍人员子女学校（上海浦东）成功举办了年度社区盛会2025福南梅森英伦奇遇日。音乐、运动、美食与文化交织，为到场将近4000位来宾呈现了一场难忘的嘉年华。本届活动更是创造了历史最高纪录，共有近6000人报名注册。
The festival began with the skirl of Scottish bagpipes, leading to the warm words of welcome from BritCham Shanghai Chair Kirsten Johnston, who marked the Chamber’s 110th Anniversary and thanked sponsors, partners, and volunteers.
Sohail Shaikh, Deputy British Trade Commissioner for China, praised the Chamber’s role in connecting business and community over the past century and highlighted the diverse brands and charities on site.
Gary Russell, Head of Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong, expressed his honour in hosting the festival and supporting such a historic milestone. The opening set the tone for a day of celebration, connection, and community spirit.
活动在苏格兰风笛的悠扬旋律中正式拉开序幕。由上海英国商会主席庄沛榕女士致欢迎辞，庆祝商会成立 110 周年，并感谢赞助商、合作伙伴及志愿者们的支持。
英国驻华贸易副使节施睿耀先生肯定了商会在过去百年中对企业与社区的连接作用，并称赞了现场多元的品牌与公益组织。

Throughout the afternoon, the main stage became a focal point for performances that delighted every generation — from school choirs and martial arts displays to stand-up comedy, string quartets, and the energy of live bands.
主舞台节目贯穿全天：从合唱团、武术表演到脱口秀、四重奏和摇滚乐队，每一个环节都赢得观众热烈掌声，展现了传统与创新的融合。
Across the grounds, sponsor showcase areas created immersive experiences. The Fortnum & Mason picnic area offered a quintessentially British setting. Families queued for photos at the a2 Milk® × Octonauts installation. Meanwhile, conversations and networking flourished in the Berkeley Group Platinum Lounge, an elegant retreat in the heart of the festival.
在场地的不同角落，赞助商展示区成为人气打卡点。福南梅森野餐区则为现场增添了典雅的英伦氛围。a2牛奶携手《海底小纵队》打造的互动装置吸引了众多家庭驻足拍照。伯克利集团铂金贵宾室为嘉宾们提供了舒适的社交与交流空间。
The football and badminton tournaments, proudly sponsored by HSC, brought high energy and fierce competition to the day , while children discovered new challenges through STEM racing workshops, and multiple sports simulations.
由HSC倾情赞助的足球与羽毛球锦标赛点燃赛场激情，吸引了众多队伍与观众热情参与。孩子们则在 STEM 赛车、以及各种不同运动的体验中收获了挑战与乐趣。
Even when a brief shower passed over the grounds, the festival spirit never wavered. As the event drew to a close, anticipation built for the lucky draw. Prizes including flight ticket, hotel stays, health packages, sports experiences, and fine dining vouchers — were awarded, sending lucky winners home with smiles and stories.
虽然中途一度下起小雨，但丝毫没有影响活动的热情。下午的幸运抽奖将气氛推向高潮。多种大奖涵盖上海-英国来回商务舱机票、酒店住宿、健康套餐、运动体验与精美餐饮，幸运儿们满载而归。
