About STEM Racing

STEM Racing is one of the world’s largest and most influential youth competitions in science, technology and innovation. Originating in the UK in 2000, it has now reached over 20,000 schools across more than 50 countries. The competition essentially replicates the standard preparation process of an F1 racing team for the participating students, covering engineering, marketing and sponsorship. It has also gained wider international recognition through the endorsement of both the CREST Award and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Moreover, the competition is partnered with University College London’s Mechanical Engineering Department, which provides scholarship opportunities for students competing in the World Finals.

China Tournament 2026

The China Tournament 2026 will bring together talented student teams from across the country to showcase their designs, race their cars, and present their work to a panel of judges from industry and academia. This event highlights the young innovators who may one day design the cars, technologies and ideas that drive the future of motorsport and engineering. The tournament will feature two categories: Development Level and Professional Level. Registration is now open to participants from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, and surrounding regions.
