On 17 February, the People’s Government of Fengxian District hosted its 2023 Investment Promotion Conference and invited BritCham Shanghai to attend.
At the Conference, a number of foreign enterprises reached strategic cooperation intentions with Fengxian District. In total 14 projects were signed, covering sectors of beauty and health, intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine, medical devices and other fields, with an investment amount of over RMB 10 billion.
On behalf of BritCham Shanghai, Chamber Vice Chair Kirsten Johnston attended the Conference and received the certificate of “Global Investment Partner (全球投资合作伙伴机构)” from Fengxian District.
Mr YUAN Quan, Deputy Secretary of Fengxian District Party Committee and Governor, Mr LUO Zhisong, Chief Economist of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce (SCOFCOM), Mr ZHANG Peirong, Director of the Standing Committee of Fengxian District People’s Congress, and Mr Chen Yongzhang, Chairman of Fengxian District CPPCC attended the ceremony.
