BritCham Shanghai’s Technology & Innovation Committee is delighted to invite foreign banks and financial institutions to our first closed-door innovation roundtable that will explore the latest trends, innovations and opportunities in China’s burgeoning fintech sector.

The innovation roundtable will kick off with two keynotes by Benjamin Speyer, CEO at Serica and Cicy Shuang, Fintech Business Development Director at Plug & Play China. A one-hour roundtable will follow, giving attendees the opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences on engaging with Chinese fintechs.

This session is convened under strict Chatham House rules to facilitate open discussion and encourage the establishment of a supportive network of British and international companies.

* Please note that this roundtable is only for senior executives from banks and financial institutions only. Attendance is limited to a maximum of 15 attendees. Cicy Shuang, based in Shanghai, is an expert in fintech area and experienced on helping financial institutions on innovation cooperation, ecosystem establishment and digital transformation. Before joining Plug and Play China, she has served in both private and public sectors including Ant Group, Ernst & Young, Capgemini Consulting and the UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT). She has gained her masters degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science and Durham University.

In case of cancellation, please kindly note you must email the BritCham Shanghai Event staff Eloise.Zhang@britishchambershanghai.cn before 5 pm, 20 Sep. Due to the service charges of Glueup and online payment platforms, we can only partially refund up to 90% of your ticket price and payment will be processed within 14 days after the event via your original payment method. However, it is non-refundable for a cancellation request made beyond the above-mentioned timeframe.
